Welcome to DonOrDie.com!

Hey guys it's me Gabriel. Most of you visiting this page probably know me by my Youtube username 'Grindcoreisgod' and I welcome you to my website. If this isn't the case, you're welcome either way! As this is my first blog post, I thought it would be best to write about the site's creation and its underlying concept.

I started work on this project 6 months ago as I decided that it would better to have something which could be constantly updated when new information arises rather than a static video system which cannot be changed at will. The evident reason for my lack of videos this summer is due to the creation of this website. Although unfortunate, I believe that it was for the best.

Through constant toiling and planning I finally thought of the site's name and outlined its layout. I felt that the domain name, 'Don or Die' was ideal for this online exhibition as it best describes the situations in which Gas Masks and Rebreathers are to be used. This name quickly stuck and the site's concept seeds were planted, ingraining its roots further and further into the soil of progression. Today, on the 19th of November, I am proud to bring you Donordie.com, a project which I am very proud of. Throughout the following weeks I will polish the site up, removing certain 'table scraps' and adding on any information that I can. I also intend on posting update posts on this blog so look out for them in the near future!

Additionally, I created the 'Gas Mask-Related Links' page which I hope will keep spinning the ever growing web of Gas Mask collectors as it will make navigation through collectors' websites and Youtube Channels easier for both beginner and veteran collectors alike. If you would like your website/ Youtube Channel on this page, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Before I end this blog post I'd like to thank the numerous people who have helped me build my website up from scratch, either through the direct donation of pieces or through the contribution of information related to them. Without these people certain aspects of my website may have not been able to become a reality.

Finally, I'd like to welcome all of you to my website again, feel free to look around and keep collecting!

-Gabriel
